E. Tubb Steelers please.

A time frame would make it easier. There was Ray "Kemo"Head in the 40's and early 50's. Also Dickie Harris. 1958 to 1960 was Buddy Emmons. Then there was Bobby Garrett briefly. Then back to Buddy Emmons until 1962 when Buddy Charleton held the chair. Buddy left in 1973 and Don Helms played till 1974 when Lynn Owsley took over. The rest of the time Ernest had a band the chair was split between Lynn and Johnny Cox. This is the best I can do.

Jerry Byrd can be heard on several ET recordings around 1950 (but I think he never toured with the Troubadours).

ET's band was one of the first that Jerry Byrd played in as a Troubador. It's on the Jerry Byrd Fan Club site. He was with Ernest and in the movie Hollywood Barn Dance or something like that....the life story of Mr. Tubb.
