I had the pleasure of doing some business with Billy today.....and what a gentleman he truly is....and very knowledgable, too. He goes above and beyond the "call of duty" to see that his customers leave satisfied. I can really appreciate that. I got a Carter guitar with 8 & 5 from him and also a Webb 6-14E amp and I'm so very pleased. He also loaded me up with extra strings, etc. Now you folks need to give him a call or an e-mail and let him take care of your steel guitar needs.....I'm sure you, too will be more than satisfied with the service that you receive.........HAL P.S. Billy thanks a bunch...and post your phone number(s) and e-mail address, so all can take advantage of your offered services.

Not an "Event or Announcement" , moving to Steel Players.

I'm not really sure where to put it, but it's nice to hear good feedback.

Ha! Must have been something in the tea Hal got while he was at my place. Thank you Hal, my friend. I take a lot of pride in seeing that my customers are taken good care of whether they buy, sell or trade or even if they don't. I'm able to provide one on one service in a relaxed atmosphere. No pressure. The D-10 Carter had to pass strict standards to be available for sale in my shop. All guitars are serviced before there available for sale.

My friend Billy Carr put me in the steel guitar business at a very reasonable price.I know he's very busy;but, when I have a question about something,he always answers my emails ASAP.I just wish he had some kind of product to get these bowling balls that are stuck on my hands off!I crave to hear you play again. Thanks for everything.Your friend to the death,Andy Jones.

For a newbie, it's hard to find an honest man. Billy Carr is honest, professional and smart. You can't ask for more than that, especially if you have no idea what you're doing and have to depend on a complete stranger having "honor," an old concept, rare these days. Sign me up for his fan club. Do we get t-shirts?

Thanks to all of you guys. I appreciate the support. My policy is to be honest and upfront with everybody. When a player deals deals with me, there's no if, ands or buts. I lay it all out on the table and go the extra mile for everybody. I like the one on one service also. I want a player to feel comfortable while there in the steel shop or even on the phone. I'm also GHS string dealer if anyone needs the GHS brands. My price is set at 10.00 per set(any set). I also pay shipping on all orders.(USA) Thanks again to all of you!

Hey Farris, thanks for the complement!!! If there is such a thing as being honest to a fault, Billy's your man. I've known him all his life and was good friends with his Dad. A great guy and a motorcycle cop. Just runs in his family I guess.
Billy's doing a great job with his equipment. Just purchased one of the most pristene 77 or 78 MSA Supersustain Super Short D10's that I've ever seen from him. He even brought it to me, set it up and serenaded me for a while. It's right handed and I play left handed most the time and bought it anyhow. What a salesman. Talk about selling an Eskimo ice water. The guitar looks like its never been touched must less played.
Thanks Buddy

Billy Carr is a great person and steel player. His tone is perfect on whatever he plays. I bought a Session 500 from him a while back and it was in mint condition and probably the best sounding amp I ever owned. Billy is super player and very honest to deal with. He is both smooth and quick in his playing as well as accurate. Let me know if you start selling licks Billy, I'll be the first in line!!

Thanks to you, brother Hal. I appreciate the business as well as the chance to sit down and pick with such a great player as yourself. You ought to hear the 04' Fessy I've got for sale through the Session 500 with the Evans and Lexicon effects units I got from you. "Bad to the bone." Don't what kind of George L's TW had put on it but it's a bad boy! Thinkin' about keeping it for myself. See ya buddy!

Thanks Steve. The EXCEL is a fine guitar, plus a real nice flight case that goes with it is really a good addition to any players equipment.
