I took a new steel player to the Texas show this year for his first steel show. When Paul Franklin played his comments were "Paul Franklin is a monster player". I see in him a great respect from other steel players for the talent he possesses. Congratulations Paul on you award, you definitely are deserving of such an honor and the other nominees are great players as well. I wish all of you could have received an award. |
