My most favourite steel solo is” Teach your children “, on the album Deja vu from Crosby, Stills Nash & Young played by Jerry Garcia.
Maybe a nice studie object the next time Meine ??????

Jim Cohen, We grew up many miles apart but I see our influences on steel were similar. The only thing I could add to your list would be a couple of Jimmy Day solos, Farewell Party with Johnny Bush and Sad songs & Waltzes with Willie. BE's Night Life.

Lloyd Green's solo on "Remember When", Paul Franklin's solo on "Lonely Too" by Lee Ann Womack, Paul's steel solo on "Oceanfront Property", John Hughey's solo on "Look At Us", also a solo Paul played on Tracy Byrd's song called "Love Lessons".
