Ain't nuthin' easy ...

I finally feel comfortable enough with these Neodymium-Iron-Boron Supro style magnets .... to offer 'em up for folks who want Super Supros, Valcos, Nationals, etc.

The NIBro magnet ...

I've had several of these "out for testin'" ... and they have had glowin' reviews by some players on tour, in studios and at home ...

The problem was ... finding a polymer, easy enough to work with ... that would withstand the force of these rascals "jumpin' at" each other.

Not that it was a big deal, once placed in the unit ... but the NIBs are so strong ... that if they were allowed to "leap" (installers grip wasn't tight enough) ... they shattered.

Anyway ... I have made enough to fill orders folks have placed so far (I think ..) ... and I will be emailin' these "patient souls" today.

I've just gotta add...these NIBro's sure do add the Zing Thing to the String! The difference in frequency response is simply incredible, and the overtones are sublime. These gems are hotter than a Habanero...and you do have to keep a good grip on 'em!

Rick, you are one incredible craftsman...

My new mags arrived this afternoon. I installed them, and it was like Frankenstein's monster all over again. My guitar came alive with tone it never had before. Very tight and ballzy around the midtone. Punchy all the way up the neck. The bottom end sounds like Thor's hammer banging down on a thunder cloud.
Just when I was ready to sell the old girl and start lookin' for a new axe, Rick pulls a rabbit out of his hat. WAY COOL!!!
