Hi-
Gerald Ross mentioned, in a previous thread, that he tuned his Tricone to C6. I am wondering what kind of strings and what guages work for this tuning on a Tricone.

It doesn't really matter.

Currently I have nickel semi-flats (GHS) on my Tricone, because that's what I had in the house when it was time to restring.

On my Beard GoldTone Reso, also in C6, I have the same gauge strings but phos-bronze round wound, because that's what was available at the music store when I was there.
