Any Forum members performing during the New Orleans Jazz Festival this year? Fairground peformances or elsewhere in town?

I am. The Uptown Plowboys at the Circle bar May 5th 11:00 till at least 3:00 am. Not much steel at the fairgrounds.

Thanks Steve- I'm going to do my best to make it. That second weekend is when I'll be down there. I'll say hello if its appropriate to harass the musicians.

I don't think Dave Easley has an official Jazz Fest gig but he should be playing somewhere in New Orleans around then.

My wife and I were planning on a ride up but found out the Marriot wanted 189.00 a night for a room. Four days at that cost would mean double shifts at the mall with my open guitar case.Maybe Myron Labelle who I know is going would care to share his new Prevost for the event.Yoohoo Myron vere ist you?
