Mike, tell them to look in VERY LARGE TRUCKS
tell them to not bother looking in the little Jeeps and such..
I have the worst PO story in the world..in short my daughter sold a Shuttel PC on EBAY..$500..We sent it to the UK..MISTAKE..
$75 express insured..
yep ..lost..6 months later ..paperwork like the IRS..they finally conceeded and sent me the actual claim forms for me to get paid for the loss..
all of a sudden it shows up at a P/O about 3 towns away..I get a call..come pick it up..$75 return postage due.
I think not..
I went to get it, showed the boss all my paperwork..he gives me the box..which by the way is still in excellent condition..and I go home. I files a claim for the postage ony..
never heard from them again..
resold it..got paid..shipped it UPS a and all went well..
go figure
I sent a small PC for a trip to the UK and back..
what a guy...

I remember in 1979 I ordered a green laquer Emmons P/P 9-8 ,, I did not want it shipped by ground carriers because of (fear of damage)or getting lost, so I had flying Tigers private airline, fly direct from factory to Texas, when the pilot pulled it off the plane, I decided to look it over right then & there !! Glad I did !! there was a huge crack in front right under the Emmons logo, I just sent it back !! Emmons Rebuilt the guitar !! Somtimes you never know!
[This message was edited by Ron Kirby on 13 April 2006 at 03:18 AM.]
