just watch on tv the grande ole opry live at Carneige hall. Brad Paisley's steel player was playing some type of dobro simulator, it had a great dobro sound! does anyone know what type of instrument he was playing and the brand of the instrument?

i only posted this in 2 sub titles i don't know how it ended up in 4 sub titles
does Msa make that dobro simulator or does anyone know the brand name?

I just watched the GOO @ Carneige Hall that I had recorded on TiVo...great device, turned a 2hr show into about 45 min!!
Anyway, if your talking about when they played Whiskey Luluby, he was playing a real Dobro, lots of close ups, no simulator to it. I didn't hear any Dobro sounds while he was playing that Paisley MSA.[This message was edited by Sidney Malone on 11 April 2006 at 08:09 PM.] |

I picked up a dvd today at WalMart of the show. I was disappointed that Brad didn't use the band on "TOO COUNTRY" I would have loved Currie milkin' it on that song.
