I receoved a phone call today from the superviser at the Dallas post office. They have the guitar, and will deliver it to MSA today.

I feel more than a little foolish for panicing, but I was originally told it would be delivered on march 30.

Oh well, at least it wasn't lost.

Good news Mike! Glad they found it. The post office has been my second-worst as far as lost items...only Airborn has been worse.

Looking forward to seeing it at the jam.

Hmmmm, ship something so that it gets lost and never can be found again... Now where could I use that service? Let's see... Maybe we're on to something here... Tony Soprano know about this?

Neither rain, nor sleet, nor spaced out, overworked postal employees shall stop the US mail..... however delays will be experienced from time to time :-)

Glad they found your steel Mike.

Hey Mike, I would have been more than a little freaked out too. Don't feel foolish even for a second.

thats great news.

These are only THINGS but we do love them and occasionally have to trust them into the hands of others (wow, I cannot imagine having children...hehe).

Actually Jim, you’ll see my other one at the jam.

This is the white mica/dieboard one that I sent to Dallas. This is my spare.

This is the green maple/lacquer one that I prefer. This is the one I will be using at the jam.

I had hoped my new Millennium would be ready in time, but I've been told it won't be ready for about another week or 2.

I want to thank everybody for all the good wishes. It’s things like this that make me proud to be a member of this community.

Don’tcha just love happy endings?

Well, at least no disgruntled post office worker shot your guitar!
