Johnny......Sunday Apr 2 beginning around noon, the OSGA (OKLA)will be having a fund raiser at the American Legion on Admiral just east of Garnet. It will feature all the good Tulsa players....John Buffington, Marty Neer, Rick Crow, Clovis Richards and many many more. I have not heard whether Junior Knight will be up from Texas....he is a charter member of the "A" team. Another possibility would be Terry Bethel and maybe Louie Hallford. You will have a great time. If you make it, please be sure to look me up.

Hey Larry - Make sure you let me know if the Texas Steelman decides to join the festivities. Of course he'll probably keep it a secret and then just show up.

And Mr. Bethel - I'm still smiling ear to ear from his dedication at Waterloo. The man simply amazes me. he brings such class and style to the steel. Don't believe it if he tells you his chops are rusty!

Quick Question - is the Holiday Inn offering a special rate for this event? Just curious.

This will be a great show so I hope everyone can attend.

Hey John, I have posted information about our fund raiser and jam in Events and Announcements.

We would like to invite you to bring your equipment and join us for the day. Our club has players of all levels, beginner to advanced, so all are welcome. If you need any additional info, e-mail me and I will send you my phone number.

Lana & Larry, thanks for your replies and support. I was at the club meeting in Owasso yesterday, and didn't see John's inquiry until this morning. You guys are the best.

Lana, As of this time, there are no special rates being offered by the Holiday Inn. This is our first try at this little get together, and we aren't sure of how big it will be. Motels like promises of business, and we can't commit to any numbers. Maybe next time.

Hope to see you all there, it's going to be fun.
