Can any one tell me which [2 ] knee levers you use most..[ 1 ] to drop & [ 1 ] to raise ??..really need help here. thanks to all of you...

For me, it's the lever that lowers the E's a half tone (4th and 8th strings) and the lever that raises them a half.

I too, use my LKR and LKL dropping the E's and raising the E's repectively, more than my other knee levers.

Ok, I´ll take those two...but ¿can I have a third? Lowering all 3 (12 string) G sharps to G.

I don´t know why that lever is not on EVERYONES guitar.

E's to Eb and probably a tie between E's to F and string 6 G# to F#

Only two ? ok...if ony two then yes of course I would lower and raise 4+8..

but for me in reality ( that means typical for those of you in RioLinda ) raising 1 (+1) and lowering 2 both a half and a full tone are becoming pretty common lately...

I use the E's to Eb the most, then the 2nd Eb to D, but using universals a lot I of course have to use the lever that raises my 9th string B up to the standard D note, I use that a bunch, I also use that on my 'More Bass' tuning 10 string steel that I have the low E string on the 10th string.

I'll go with those two common KL's, except that my Raise lever Raises the 4th (½-tone) (E) to (F), but; my 8th Raises (1-tone) (E) to (F/F#) w/half-stop. Smoke that for a while¡ ROTFALMFAO!

I go along with everyone else for the most part. I have a third knee that I like as well which is lowering the "B"s half tone. Terry has gave me an idea though. I like the thought of raising the "E"s a half and a whole tone. I'll have to work on that one. This could be fun. Thanks Terry for the information.

Personally, I think the only two knee levers that are "mandatory" on E9th are the E raises and lowers. Everything else is just icing on the cake.

Who is Terry? Didn't see the Post! Only Raise the (E) on str. #8 (1-tone) that way you'll have a feel/stop that is very close to in tune. You don't even have to change te linkage, just the stop for the KL~travel! I've been using it for several years and only actually added the half/stop when I ordered my latest PSG. It feels a little better w/½-stop.

Forgive me John. My bad. I guess I had a senior citizen moment there. I did like the idea. In fact last night at my gig I toyed around with it. You can come up with some really intersting stuff there. Guess I need to add me a rod or two now.

When I consider the musical range of the things I love to play from fast to slow the two most important lever changes are
(1) Lowering the E's to Eb
(2) Lowering the Eb to D and C# along with lowering the D to C#

I use, more often than not, specific two note combinations when playing ballads. So by slanting the bar most of the E to F pretty moves can be accomplished without the lever. The only exclusion I would lose would be the complete triad inversions which are not nearly as important to me when weighed against the single note and pretty ballad licks my second choice provides.

My (3) choice would be the E to F raise

That was well put Paul. Thanks so much for your imput on any matter that you reply on. It's great that players can swap ideas like this to one another. I have been reading some things about the Tx. show. Didn't get to make it and it sounds like I really missed a great show. I sure hope to make it next year.
