I guess ol' Albert Talley's still taking a nap after this weekend to answer. I heard a rumor but wasn't there for the presentation, so I'll keep my mouth shut until someone who was there chimes in.

The Hall of Fame awards went to Tommy Roots, who's unfortunately deceased, and the terrific Jimmy Grabowske, who fortunately is still with us and was there with his family to receive the award. They kept it a secret from him and he was wonderfully surprised. He's a great guy and very deserving.
The Player of the Year is ... the envelope please ....
Johnny Cox, who played a beautiful and varied set that demonstrated why they selected him.
It was a great show all around. Man, I'm still floating on air eventhough I'm back at work.

Glad Johnny got it. I saw him 2 summers with the Time Jumpers before he went to Dallas. I even got a close up of his blue MSA & the year before his Zum triple neck! |

oops, sorry about that Jack. I think he wasn't in attendance so I just saw Johnny accept his award. So much for eye witnesses.
