Yeah, that's Alvino on the console.
Not sure about the last photo. I'll have to get a interpreter as the captions under the photos in the book are all written in Japanese.
By the way, anyone familiar with the steel playing of Bucky Shirakata? His steel playing blew me away. |

That middle picture of Dick McIntire is on the cover of his sheet music C. 1938. He had a series of beginner Hawaiian tunes, notes and tab, and that picture was on the cover of each piece. I have one of those covers hanging on the wall of my music room. Looks awesome.
