Luke is that over by Herrick or closer to Ramsey? I've probably played there years ago when the bathrooms were new LOL!

Hey guys,

Check out a book by Geronimo Trevino a Texas Honky Tonk singer and writer. It's caled "Dance Halls and Last Calls". It's all about the dance halls in Texas. Check amazon.com and barnes and noble. It was published by Republic of Texas Press. It has a good section on an old hall I do the bookings for mentioned earlier by Roger E. "Anhalt Hall" the hardwood dance floor is about 80' X 60' and was built in 1908. The original part of the hall was built in 1879.

Oh I see yeah there use to be a lot of old school houses around that area but I suspect most are all gone by now. Keep up the good picking up there Luke. Oh yeah and tell the preacher that God loves country music too :-)

I'm so lucky to get to play in some REAL GOOD, REAL COUNTRY BANDS, AND TEXAS DANCEHALLS. I play at the ledgendary "Stagecoach Ballroom" in Fort Worth, and "The Finish Line". Folks still come out to dance.
