I shipped a fiddle overnite and payed extra to get it to its destination by 10:30 AM. Of course, there is a snow storm there this morning so by 12:30 it still has not arrived. Weather-related lateness is not refundable and I am out the extra $20.00. Not much to cry over, but next time I'll check the weather and more of the small print. Word to the wise.

Drew;Last Friday I ordered a $900.00 radiator from Kansas City and paid an extra $119.00 for Fed-Ex to overnight it and guarantee deliver by 10:30 am Saturday morning. At 11am my customer and I were still waiting for the Fed-Ex truck so I called my supplier and got the tracking number.By the grace of God I finally reached a Fex-Ex representive that told me that I did pay an extra $12.50 to get it delivered on Saturday however Fed-Ex doesn't guarantee 10:30 delivery on Saturdays even though, according to my supplier,I was charged for it.Someone got my money. At least they finally showed up a little past 1pm,damaged radiator and all.

$120.00 you could have drove to kc and got it yourself. just kidding. there is always fine print at the bottom you never read till its too late. i have had good service from fed ex and will continue to use them. Why didn't you just ship the fiddle sooner? doc

I wouldn't dream of using ‘that company’ again! I gave them the dimensions and weight and they gave me a price~quote to ship to France recently, but; although the size was actually slightly smaller than I had stated, when I took it for shipping, the actual cost was $36 above the quote! The only reason I shipped it through them was because the receiver insisted on using then! I've always used UPS (with never any problems) for all my shipping that wasn't practical by USPS.

Courage.

Hey , You guys should try living in the UK. I Had a nash 1000 imported and by the time customs had finished I paid DOUBLE what it would have cost if I stayed in USA.
