I met Andre during a tour of Europe this summer, and he knocked me out both for his great playing and his great personality! He was playing his tail off with Buffalo C. Wayne (the Texan from Luxembourg )
BTW, in case any beginners out there think you can only make great music on a full-dress professional guitar with 8 knee levers, Andre was smoking everyone onstage with a Zumsteel Stage One student model guitar. He is a master musician.

well herb i feel that a pro model sounds a little better than a student model. i believe that a little more craftmanship, and parts goes into a pro model but i am not deneying what your saying i was good on my starter psg but i believe i am a little better sounding on my pro model. and i can tell you why this man sounds so good it because he has a zum steel. ha ha ha. they are the best. doc

| Andre is a dear friend, and like everyone says a super steel player (and guitar player too!). He used to zigzag all across Europe to play dates. Maybe he still does? Jelle, tell him I'd love to hear from him.....and that brother of yours too!!! |
