Is it true that Leon wrote this song as simply the "Rag" in reverse or is that a "steel legend"?

I kept reading that also. I couldn't figure what they were talking about, and then it hit me one day. They are reffering to intro the steel plays just before the song kicks in.

Steel guitar rag is C6 up, Panhandle rag is C6 down, try this I think it works.
