Smiley Roberts and Dennis Payne

Post by Howard Tate »

I heard some swing music by Smiles and Dennis on Steel Radio, and really liked it. Does anyone know if there's a cd or tape available? Dennis is a fine guitar player and singer, and Smiley is as Smiley as it gets. Image

Right you are about Dennis. Dennis is also a great writer Tommy Overstreets "I'll never let you down " and Junior Browns "Highway Patrol" were spotlighted. Dennis does have a couple of CD's out with a lot of his own material and I might add a lot of Smiley...I have always felt Dennis is one of Nashvilles best kept secrets. And Smiley can pick with the best of them and he is one of the best of them.
