Since a couple pickers here have expressed their interest in Beemers and heck Mr. Seymour owns a "Brick, I thought I'd share my 94 R100GSPD Airhead. 95 was the last year BMW imported Airheads to CONUS prior to the major design change of the present-day "Oilhead. I have read they made them unitl 97 for European sales but no real facts.
This picture was taken near Ebbett's Pass a few miles from Markleeville. It's a hoot and a GREAT biker town! When I'm on the road, she usually sports Jesse Bags, but this day I was riding alot of fire roads in the Sierra's and that would've been stooooopid. Got her for a steal in Medford, OR a couple years ago. Meine BMW ist sehr schön! Echt schöne motorad!

Hey CrowBear! I would love to ride Europe at some point. With regard to your question; the
GSPD acronym translated from Deutsch to English: G= Gelände= offroad, S= Straße= Street and the PD means Paris-Dakar which is an annual race from Paris, France to Dakar, Senegal. Here is a link if that is ok? http://www.dakar.com/touquet/2004/us/index.html

Howdy Gene. Is that Monument Valley or close?
Gudgel and I were just on the other side of that grand place a few weeks back. Sorry I didn't get to witness her beauty. Whether it is or isn't, it sure looks to be a great place to scoot....... that is when the weather is a tad cooler. 
How you doing David? Sure has been awhile. Beautiful pics of Yosemite and a very NICE scoot bud!  Now that Fall is approaching, we ought to head up the hill on a putt. Gudgel has been talking about us getting together with you one Sunday afternoon. How about watch a Dallas game, talk shop/do some pickin' and take a ride? Would be nice to see your MSA up close and personal. Let's make it a plan bro!
To all the riders out here on the Left Coast,
below is a site which is dedicated to the Creme DeLa Creme of biking roads here in Kalifornia. This guy has been putting it together for over four years and I use it all the time for a "new adventure. Complete with maps for printing or for those looking to come to CA for some new sights. For a dose of (scratch and sniff) nice ridin' for the newbies, he also has rentals and tours. It will take you some time to surf as it's well laid out. Keep the rubber side down ya'll!

is the engine stock ?
it almost looks like it but the valve covers tell me it is'nt

| CrowBear, yeah you're correct. "S" does stand for "Straße. Note my correction above. My brain obviously wasn't up to the task today. The valve covers, the Ohlin shock, Omega charging system are the only mods. I never cared for the "squared" valve covers. Other than that, she is stock. The ohlin and Omega charging system are MUST mods for any Airhead owner if you ride hard and during the winter! With the Ohlin, she handles like a cafe racer albeit without the speed. Yep, Steve and Jim.....that pic was in Utah a couple of years ago when me and the wife enjoyed a 2500 mile tour in that area on our Heritage. Great country!

Hi there - I have a 2002 Triumph Sprint St. She gets ridden on my commute 5 days a week, rain or rain (well, it IS England....).
Actually, it's been really hot this summer - I got a great Hein Gericke jacket in Miami a few months back. It's pretty much all mesh, with their armour and a waterproof zip out lining.

| i have always wanted a bike. i had one a long time ago. i want one now. to tell the truth i am messed up got a broken leg that never healed and my back is not in too good of shape either. my niece and her hubby was here for a couple days they left yesterday riding a trike from the trike shop in mn. it looks tough very cool looking. I WANT ONE! brand new today it will cost $26000 that is a lot of money but i have been looking on the internet and have found a bunch of em on there used for like $5000 to $15000 that is more my speed. so by next spring i will probably have a trike. i don't need a motorcycle cause i am afraid i will get messed up worse than i am already. all i can say is keep steelin and keep ridin. sid the kidd |

Don't overlook the sidecars, I had one that would hold a guitar, an amp, two dogs, a weeks groceries whatever. Very handy vehicles, not all that expensive. Some of them really look good too.

Hey all you Harley Bikers, Tomahawk Wisconsin (home of Harley backage manufacters) is having their annual "Colorama" ride again. That means about 15,000 bikers (with an average of 2 per bike = 30,000 people) are going to be at Tomahawk over this weekend.
It'll be loud to say the least....
