touring europe?

How do you get these fabulous tour gigs? I guess you have to be good enough huh? I would love to go to Europe or Austrailia. Any takers???

We went to Australia for 2 weeks last year, the steel player used his own steel (a Carter S-10 with pad), got a good case for it, and rented a Fender Twin amp. I was playing lead, got a good case for my Tele, left my Regal resonator home. The steel case got dented a bit but the steel was ok, and the case was repaired on returning to Canada. A wonderful experience, the Aussies were great, we had a chance to play at an outback festival, plus some gigs near Sydney. My advice: tour and see the world if you get a chance, the opportunity may only come once.
