Merry Christmas. Your picking behind Buck and Wynn was a major influence in my playing. I talked to you at the Tribute to Tommy Morrell so I know that you are up and about. Take care of yourself we love you.

Mr. Mooney I have to apoligize to ya, in high school I was giving Tom Brumley credit for your work. It wasn't until a few years later I learned it was you who did the work on those early Buck Owens' tunes. I'm now putting forth much effort to correct the error of my ways Image

Merry Christmas.

Oh, and by the way, thanks for "I'll go Back to Her"... It's a thing of beauty!!!
[This message was edited by Ray Minich on 26 November 2005 at 08:09 AM.]

Mr Mooney;
Happy Holidays and thank you for your inspiration and the fine music through the years, with all the artists you've worked with.

And a big thank you for co-writing "Crazy Arms"!

Howdy Mr Mooney. I've always loved your playing. When I heard you play, that's one of the reasons I wanted to be a steel player. Hope you have a Merry Christmas.

Happy Holidays to you Ralph Mooney. I met you recently at Sunset,Texas while you played a dedication service. You were kind and very humble which are high qualities for a legend such as yourself. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and the best New Year you have ever had.

Merry Christmas (Can we still say that?)Mr Mooney...You were the first steel player that I ever saw live and you made me a fan of this instrument and yourself...it was in the early 70's in San Jose CA.

You guys were opening for Charlie Rich...he didn't show and when you guys came out Waylon said that Charlie was too drunk to perform so we got to hear a whole lotta great steel...Thanx
