Jagwire String Company is proud to welcome John Hughey to our growing family of registered Artist/Endorsers.

John's string sets will be available directly from John at the many steel shows he attends, as well as from Bobby Lee here on the Forum, and from our network of authorized Jagwire dealers world wide.

I also would like to welcome John Hughey to the Jagwire family. I have been using and selling Jagwire strings now for over 3 years and for my taste are the finest I have ever used.

Again, welcome John.

11 1/2 huh? hmmmmm. Might give that one a try. Thanks for changing my tone for the better Danny. I'll never go back to my old string brand (but I'm a nickel silver fan).

BTW, my son is a MI State Trooper, so if you're stopped on the intersate, just tell them you a steel player :-)

Welcome, John Hughey, associate member of the Nashville Bar Association, to the Jagwire Family. I'm a witness for the prosection of any string that isn't a Jagwire.

John, Herby, Mike and Tommy sound good on rusty bailing wire. Could good strings actually improve their sound?

Welcome to the family, John! I have never been so happy with strings, as I have Jagwires. I haven't broken a string in the year and a half that I have been using them, and I have to chime in on the 11-1/2... I really love the tonal balance, and the reduced string breakage (to zero string breakage).

Enjoy, and I hope I see you soon,

David Spires

I know what you mean David about breakage. I have been using Jagwires for over 3 years and I have broken 1 .011 and I broke it putting it on at the tuning key which was actually my fault. I have also used them on 3 different Mullen guitars during that 3 years and that is the only string I have broken, never a .017 or any other gauge. I normally change every 2 to 4 weeks, but I have left them on there as long as 7 weeks playing everyday and still not broken any. Most people don't believe me but it is true.

I've been relying on Jagwire's quality for some months now, and I've now started using the nickel strings on my electric guitars.

They're the best I've ever used, and it's no surprise to me that a player of John's excellence has joined the 'family'!

My thanks, as always, to Danny for the wonderful service and consistent product-quality I've enjoyed since moving to 'Jagwires'.
