It wasn't JayDee Maness nor John Hughey. He played an SD-10 Emmons, wood-grain mica. Didn't get to hear as much as I wanted, but he played some tasty original sounding things on "Pocketful of Gold".
Anyone else see it?
(By the way, I think Vince was the only act on the TV portion of GOO that even had a steel player [unless I missed something during my channel surfing]).

Seems I heard that Russ Pahl was doing some shows with Vince. Might it have been him? |

I am not sure what Russ looks like. I didn't get a real good look at the steeler, but there seemed to be some resemblance to Stu Basore. Don't think it was Stu.

The guitar was a rosewood Emmons SD-10 loafer. I did notice that there was NO pad on the back part of the guitar. |
