Thanks for the welcome, and it looks like I will be sort of where I left off as I bought the Sierra Crown that is posted here. Looking forward to many sleepless nights, frustrating practice sessions, and just plain "what am I doing with this" questions running thru my head...Ahhhh how I have missed that!...I am quite excited to be back in actually. Most of the time, time runs out or life gets in the way. I feel I pretty good that after all these years I was able to come back and get associated with people here who can help me along. Looking forward to playing again.

Yup, a familiar refrain, I say that too, & often... If there any other instrument that allows you to get buried so deep that a shovel don't work, I don't know it
Welcome aboard Michael.

I can recall getting so mad at myself, the steel , the amp...you name it....I could hear it in my head, just coulden;t make it come out the speakers. Then, have one of my steeler friends sit down and say " its easy, You coulden;t get that?"...."Sure I could,I said, "just seeing if YOU could is all!" that only worked once..HA!....all kidding aside it is not for the unmotivated that is for sure.

Thanks for that TJ quote Michael. It's one of my very favorite, and especially these days.
