Just got Jay Dees' Video # 1. Its so dark I cant see the fret board. Not that you need to, but it would be nice to see his hands, bar, etc. Is it my computer or the DVD? How about video # 2? Is it the same or is the light better? Other than that its a great video. Thanks [This message was edited by Steven Welborn on 17 November 2005 at 06:04 PM.] |

That's the first time anyone has said that- could be a problem on the video or your player- try it on another player and, if it's still dark- return it to JayDee- I'm sure he'll be glad to replace it- hopefully that will solve the problem. When we shot it originally the light was reflecting off the fretboard from the over head lights causing a glare so we had to move the overhead lights a bit to keep that from being a problem. He may still have a copy of that on DVD. |

Where are they available as DVDs ? The Forum catalogue lists only VHS tapes. |

I just played it on my Sony laptop and it is darker on it than if played on a regular computer monitor or the DVD player in my motorhome. Maybe it is the LCD type screen.

I tried it on my friends computer AND his DVD/TV system. Turns out it seems to not like computers as it was too dark on both his and my computer but Jay Dees' ax and fretboard were very clear and visible on the DVD/TV system. Guess I'll have to replace my broken DVD plyer with a new one. |
