Probably my favorite would be "Cherokee"
as far as to listen to. My second farorite would be anything done in the style of an obscure steel player named Bobbe Seymour!

I think one of my fav's to play is "I Love You So Much" an all time favorite of mine.
and I like the arrangment that I stole from Jeff Newman. After that I guess it would have to be "Choo, Choo Boogie" aiways a lot of fun at a jam. BTW, good thread my friend!

Wait a minute Sleazmour, I didn't get my first choice in yet. My favorite song(s)
Jukebox Charlie by Lamar Green (with or without Paycheck)
Almost to Tulsa by Buddy Charlton
Let Me Talk To You...from the Soulful Steel Album by Ed Naylor
NOW.....................
Sukiaki and yes I can play it with Blue Jade in the middle of it.

Eric, "Rose City Chimes" was named after Bobby Garrett's home town, Tyler Texas, known as "The City of Roses".
Now, which is your favorite song to play?
Mike Weirach, you are still hilarious, Ed Naylor? You kill me! Ha! Ha! Lamar Green and Elmer Charlton huh? What about Bruce Garrish or Harold Lee Chalker?
[This message was edited by BobbeSeymour on 11 October 2005 at 06:51 PM.]

Bobbe-I like Johnny Cox's CD with "Shadow of your Smile" a great rendition.

This is truly an impossible question.....I have no favorite....I have many favorites... Rose City Chimes....I used to get up a 5 in the morning to hear Ralph Emery's theme (Bobby Garrett's version). I have Bobbe Seymours and Buddy Emmons versions. I missed the opportunity to get a vinyl of Bobby Garrett's version at one of Scotty's Conventions. ALAS
Hank William's Medley by Tom Brumley
Take me out to the Ballgame by Buddy Emmons
Sweet Memories by Lloyd Green (1995 ISGC) that I recorded out of the air.
Sarah's Song by Sarah Jory
Look at us middle break by John Hughey....I am a puddle on the floor each time I hear it.
James Farmer's back up playing on Marty Robbins recording of 'I'll Step Aside' from 1957 album, The Song of Robbins.
Everything that Dicky Overbey did at last year's convention.
A love like This (No Name Shuffle) ......Buddy playing, Laney singing.
................there is no end to this....so I will just quit.
