Just out of interest, The Twelfth Fret in Toronto has a 1950 Electraharp for sale. You can see it at: http://www.12fret.com/used/index.html
Scroll down to Resophonic/lap steel
Then scroll down to the bottom past the couple of resophonics.

Some vintage gear is fantastic but I just don't get it with the electraharps. Does anybody play music on them out there ?

Mike Scott plays Hawaiian music (beautifully) every year at the HSGC on his Multi-Chord, which is identical to the Electra-Harp.

I don't know who else does. I would venture to say that players of these vintage age steels are rarer than the steels themselves.
