Today, while I was stopped in traffic downtown, a guy walked in front of my car that, I thought had a striking resemblance to Jimmie; same facial characteristics, and with curly hair, wearing a baseball cap, only he was just a little taller. Ordinarily I would just let something like this just pass as another day in a very grateful life that I have been blessed with, but Jimmie, to me, was just a great, wonderful human being, always in a good mood, and did so much for the psg. We miss you Jimmie. |

At the convention this year in St.Louis, Johnny Cox did an imitation of Jimmy Crawford and it was so good it put goose bumps on me. Johnny can sound just like him. He has got it down. I guess thats was comes from Johnny hangin' around Jimmy so much. I do miss Jimmy so much and yes he was one of a kind. Rest in peace dear friend. Bobby |

I had the privelege of picking with Jimmy Crawford at the Ernest Tubb Troubador Theatre in Nashville back in '96 or '97. What a great guy! I still have his card. |

Jimmie was the first real pro player I ever met (around 1973), and we become great friends after that. I miss him daily... |
