Not only is Buck's CD the finest I've heard in some twenty years he is also exceedingly generous with his valuable time in answering E mails regarding his tone and settings.( which by the way are on the Peavey site ) I can't wait to get my copy of his backing tracks, what a player and gentleman!!James.

James I think that he is a great guy in person too. I hope that he comes our way again soon; just a fantastic musician and nice guy! In fact, I would rate him in the top ten psg musicians on the planet. I would love to see Buck come out with another CD.

Not me I still don't have all of this one figured out....

A great CD. A must have. Bucks in my top 10 favorite players list. More like top 5.

Me neither, Bobby - not even close!!!

I knew you'd enjoy it, James.

I only moved to the USA in '98, and ISGC 2000 was the first 'St Louis' I was ever able to attend. Lots of players blew me away that weekend (PF in particular), but when Jimmie Crawford and Russ Hicks introduced Buck and had him join them for their set I remember being confounded, and wondering just how many more stunningly talented, but relatively unknown, players could possibly 'come out of the woodwork'.

I've since learned that a lot of you guys already knew how good Buck was back then, but I'm almost relieved (!!!) to realise that he's emerged as one of the very best ever, and this CD should be essential listening for all serious players.

I consider myself lucky to have spent a little 'one-on-one' time with Buck. He really is a gentleman.

Roger R.

(Edited to make better sense - I hope!)

This Man is First Class all the way. From playing that JCH along with being a great person. For those who have not bought Buck's CD, you are missing some of the finest steel playing out there. If I could think half as fast as Buck can pick, heck I might have made something out of myself. Great Player.Great Person,Great CD, what else do you need. Go buy it.
