After several months of arranging and learning both the classical guitar as well as the lap steel solo I finished and recorded
my first Django Song.
In addition to a Django Song Folio which I own and a CD sent to me by HowardR I was able
to learn this catchy song.
The steel I use is a borrowed T-Logo Rickenbacher,,,beat up,,,but still plays fine,,,and it's not mine,,,,yet.

Roy-- nice arrangement... and terrific touch (as always). Fun 'changes' to play, and play over. !

Maybe this is the kickoff tune for a No Peddlers Djangofest (held year-round!)? --Steve

That's always been a favorite of mine, I never knew Reinhardt did it, or the name of it. Great job, beautiful tone on that Rick. Love that tricky ending.

Magnifique' mon ami.......

Indeed, beautiful. "Troublant Bolero" (yes, with a "T") and written by Django hisself.

Roy, what a lovely rendition you have provided for us. Thank you. It has a Hawaiian flavor to it. As if Django washed up on the shores of Maui and was taken in by Andy Iona.....

As I said to you via email HowardR ,, it was
you that put me onto Django and I am glad you did as this song was an interesting challenge.
Many thanks and my best wishes to you.

Very tasty indeed. I'm a Django fan from way back.

What tuning did you use?

Cheers

Richard
