I think you could do a search and find several topics on Frank. He is living in the Nashville area these days.

We did a few jobs together and would go to each others house and jam especially when Al Brunow would come to vist me. Then he went to Nasville. A couple yrs ago I saw his daughter and she gave me his addy but I have lost it. If I find it I will send it to you. It may have changed by now. db

I was told by a friend of Mr. Arnet that his albums are available on line at walmart.com.
I work with "Little" Jimmy Dickens
and the drummer in the band and Frank Arnet are good friends.

You could try that. Pee Wee

Thank a lot Pee Wee,I'll try that. By the way,you are working with one my heros. To this day I remember opening a show for him in Atlanta G.A about 48 yrs.ago.We were just a green behind the ears teenage band, but he treated us like like old pro's.One thing I remember most he want'ed to show the band and myself his new car .I think it was a 1957 Olds 88 or 98.He was really proud of that car. Enough reminiscing .I just want to add he is one of the few artists left [unlike some of this new crowd]that bring real style, dignity, showmanship, and professionalism when he steps on that stage at the Ryman,or any stage anywhere.

I went to walmart.com as I told you to do, and couldn't find Frank Arnet . . .so I called his friend and he told me after you get to walmart.com you have to go to download and search for Crest 98.
Sure enough the was one song called "Scots on the Rocks". . .for 88 cents.
I'm not up to date on how to find things on the computer so that's as far as I got.
Maybe you'll have better luck finding an album.
Pee Wee

Mr.Davidson, I had the pleasure of spending a couple of days with Frank last year and I must say it was a pleasure. He also played on a set at the North Tenn Steel Guitar Assoc. And his set was a delight. He also has a cd out called "Country Steel". Some really good stuff. He has all these cd's at his home for sale.

I heard from Frank and he said you may write or call him at 615-643-3238.

His address is 2149 Old Greenbrier Pike,
Greenbrier, TN 37073.

Send 15 dollars for each album and I believe he has several to sell;
Model T
Country Steel
Crest 98
The Last Dozen Roses
Trail of Tears

And inn October there will be 7 more albums available.
That's all I know.

Charles, I received several emails from Frank today. Some of his stuff is available online from Walmart. His label is "Crest Records". As soon as he sends me some detailed info, mp3 samples and pictures, I will put them on my website to help promote Frank and his material. I am looking forward to helping an old friend who finally surfaced on my monitor today. Please check my website in a few days for details......JD

John that's great. I'm sure all his friends know what a great player Frank is but the rest of the steel family needs to be aware of him. Off and on for years after I came across his album Model T.I tried to find out more about him,Never had any luck untill I joined the forum.I'm sure there is a lot of young players and beginners out there that may have never heard of him.If anyone out there loves bare to the bone, buttkicking steel playing you should check this man out.He deserves the recognition. Thanks.

Frank called me about an hour ago (we talked that long). He gave me directions to his (2)downloadable albums at walmart.com . You can also download individual songs from the albums.
http://musicdownloads.walmart.com/catalog/servlet/ArtistShelfServlet?artistid=39765

It may take a while to get his info on my website. Frank doesn't use a computer much and doesn't send email attachments. After he mails some stuff to me I will make it available on my site.
BTW, he now plays an MCI D-10. He uses an E9 chromatic tuning, but still has his old Mooney pedal setup on strings 3 to 10,raising one string per pedal and uses one lever to lower the "Es" ..........JD
