I think this was a Miles Davis song, and I pretty sure I have it on a steel guitar CD, but I can't think for the life of me who did it. Can you guys help me out?

Darvin, I have it on my CD, "Four to the Bar" (Get it? "Four" to the B.A.R.? Huh? Oh, nevermind...)
p.s. I believe Doug J. might have recorded it previous to my version (but I swear I didn't copy him! I swear it... ) |

Jim, I knew I had it on a CD, but I had a senior moment and never thought to look at yours. I'll get it out tonight. I also have Dougs first project but I couldn't find it in my rack, it must be at work. Thanks guys.

I believe the Doug Jernigan album that has "Four" on it is called "Uptown to Country", and came out on the "Emmons" label around the same time as the "Black Album" (aka "Emmons Guitar Company"). It's a classic for sure, with "My Funny Valentine" and "Orange Blossom Special" among others... [This message was edited by Pete Finney on 20 August 2005 at 09:46 PM.] |

Bert Rivera has it on his Eclectia CD. I just played it with him this evening at our monthly gig. It's a tune that will keep you on your toes. |
