I read about various acts on the forum and how the steel is always mixed into the background. If you want to see an act that you can appreciate hearing steel and a good steel player, catch the derailers. Our band worked with them last night at WW fairfields in Dallas and it was nice to hear a good steel player like Chris Hightower and good country music like the derailers play. Nice job Chris.

George,
I believe Chris' last name is spelled "Schlotzhauer"....and a great player he is.

Thanks Gary for the correction, I thought they were pronouncing it Hightower (ha), regardless, he is a very good player....
