Need Info on Gibson Console

Hello, A friend has a Gibson Console D-8, it is Sunburst. Ser. # 8-6820. This guitar is in good condition with a H/S case,and it is the four leg model. She needs to know year of manufacture and possible value. Thanks!

Hi Eddie,
These in a music store will go for about $1200.00 to $1500.00, depending on accesories, ie case, etc. and of course condition. I think Andys Guitars has one listed now for $1199.00

OOPS......make that $1499.00. The other one is a Stright D-8...Grand Console higher.

The serial number corresponds to 1958 production.
