Young Hal Rugg

Post by Nick Reed »

I was watching an old classic Wilburn Bros TV Show and found this shot of Hal Rugg. I'd say probably (circa mid 60's.) Thought some of you "Hal Fans" might like seeing this. I love that old Sho-Bud he was playing. NR

I have seen the show a few times and Hal Rugg was an awesome player even back in those days. As good as he was back then he is even better today.

Nick,

Aren't those old shows great? Hal is one of the very best!

On the Wilburn Brothers Show, I've seen Hal Rugg, Don Helms(playing pedals) and Curly Chalker. It's well worth staying up to watch these old reruns.
