Thanks for the kind words Turbo; could you tell that I have been up for close to 24 hours at that point; chasing my briefcase all over Holland when I left it on the train????ha.....
Seems like 2001 was 10 years ago..ha.
Oh and Dave Berzansky owns that Sho-bud "The Pro-II" now and he loves it> and I still play a Sho-bud; but I'm down to one neck LDG; as ya just don't need the other neck anyway..ha.

Well i sure do love it! And we just got back from holland also. Oh and ricky, that nice gal from newland told me you said to tell me hello, that was nice. She brought a ton of pictures to show me also, pretty cool. I wondered ever time we set up to play a gig if that steel had been there before.
If i ever cussed that big heavy road case then i take it back because as many times as i have flown lately i am thankful ever time for that thing. We all know those folks at the airport dont really care about my "delicate instrument" so it sure helps. I have had quite a few steels already and this one is hands down my favorite. totally solid workhorse with great tone. Thanks and take care...

Hey David; so cool that you passed the Hello from the lady in Neiderland. Also; I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of you and equally proud and honored you are keeping that Great Sho-bud I had; Alive. Most likely that Sho-bud sat pretty much every place you played; as It went over there 15 times in my touring with Dale Watson..ha..and you can thank W.C. Edgar for that WELL-MADE special case; as we had an idea of a lighter case but more sturdy, as your not gunna believe that is 1/4" plywood...ha...BUT we used metal strapping to strenthen it, but was able to keep it somewhat lighter than another anvil type case.
OH sorry I spelled your last name wrong above; but I fixed it and won't mess that up again..ha....
