Hey Steve,
I really like your playing on Darryl Worley's latest album, and I really, really like the sounds you got on it. What was your equipment on this album?
Also, are there any upcoming albums we can soon hear you on? Keep up the great playing

Thank you,Chris! That was a fun record to make-some of my favorite people played on it...I used my Emmons Legrande SD-10 thru a Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp and Mosvalve 500 power amp and a Peavey tweed 1-15 cabinet with a JBL M151 speaker...the guitar has a Lawrence 910 pickup in it...Jeff Surratt and Duane Marrs work on my steels and they put the 910 in right before that record. The song with the slide guitar solo(can't remember the title, sorry)was played on a Gibson SG/61 reissue thru a Marshall JTM45 head,a Nobels overdrive pedal, and some little cabinet with a 12 in it(I have a bunch of cabs and I can't remember which one-it was late!)I have cut some stuff with Josh Turner,(second album),Kenny Chesney, and a new guy on RCA,Jamey Johnson lately...sorry for the long post! Thanks again-Steve

Wow, thanks for the prompt and thorough reply, Steve! Like I said, you got a really sweet sound on that record! I have Josh Turner's first album and like it a lot; I can't wait to hear his sophomore effort, and I'll definitely keep my eyes and ears open for Jamey and Rebecca! Thanks again, so much, for your reply, for keeping great steel alive and well, and for being a part of the forum!

Chris

Hi Steve, glad to see your keepin busy!! The last time you were up here, I fell in love with that old leather jacket you had, so I started beating the bushes and found an old worn leather jacket that is very cool, found it in a antique store for $12. NOW, I'll never pick as good as you do, but now my jacket is as cool as yours!!! LOL LOL

Come see me and Mary again sometime,
Bud

ps: Bring our ole buddy Bob Knight too!!!
