Ratso must be a long-time friend, as that's a name Kinky's used in many of his Detective novels -- from years and years ago.

| As I recall there was a "New York Ratso" and a "Washington Ratso". Kinky tends to use real people who he hung out with as his fictional characters. |

| I worked at the Troubadour with Harriet Shock opposite Kinky and at that time he had a Tele player named "Panama Red". I also worked on a TV episodic starring Stella Stevens with Kinky. It was shot in a gay cowboy bar in Los Angeles and man it was really wild. A place called the Rawhide. |

Member me? I used to play at the Rawhide on Sundays with Kathy Robertson and her band. That is where I fell in love with Ernest Bovine!

| Last time Kinky was in Melbourne he was accompanied by Washington Ratso and Little Jewford.You are right Washington Ratso is a character in his detective stories as is New York Ratso.I'm just about to make my way back to the loft on Vandam St.I hope the cat's in a good mood. |
