Lotta Leavin Left to Do... . I am NOT a big video guy, but I so appreciate the fact that the band members get some serious "face time"..Especially Gary!!.
. The thing I like the best is that on the video, you can hear Gary's bouncy, syncopated comping,,intersperced with some very cool "hi endy" E9 licks as the song fades out..

Of course, on the radio, all this good stuff is hacked off by the stupid DJ yelling into the mike..

The only thing I like better than Gary's FINE playing is that blonde..
[not the dog, although he/she is kind of cute]... She is easily one of the most beautiful females ever formed.. Her and the dark haired girl from Dierks earlier videos are almost TOO beautiful.. they are almost unnaturally sexy.. does that make any sense?? .. it doesn't to me.. Oh well, I really do like the video, just for the steel parts of course!! bob

Bob, the stunningly gorgeous girl in the "Lotta Leavin" video is the former "Miss Austin", Nicole Taylor, and after hanging out with her on the video I can tell you she is just as sweet as she is beautiful. Here's a link you can check out. http://www.missaustinusa.com/Texas%20Girls.html
Glad you like the video. Dierks is really great about spreading it around. Somewhat of a rarity in the music business these days!

She's not the only fine specimen in Austin either....or Dallas....or Fort Worth. I bet Gary will back me up on this!

You've gotta feel bad for poor Gary Morse, he's gotta hang out with Miss Austin all day and he had to play behind Michell Poe for what had to be a year... Gary my friend you have got it good, I'm a big fan of Dierks and I'm glad to hear it being done right (especially on a Sho-Bud)!
