Can anyone tell me who was playing at RCA ca. 1966 - '67? I'm still trying to find out who played on "The Game fo Triangles" featuring Blbby Bare, Lynn Anderson and Norma Jean -- the liner notes credit "the boys in Studio A" but no more detail is given. In particlular "The Wife of the Party" has a great steel figure in it.

Thanks -- dg

Dave:

I read your earlier post regarding Liz Anderson's "Wife of the Party". By the tone, fills and the ending, my educated guess, is that it's none other than Lloyd Green. He played on alot of the RCA recordings in the mid 60's as well as Lynn Anderson's Chart sessions.

That was my guess as well, simply from the tone and style - I didn't know about the chart sessions but that makes sense as well.

Anybody else have any more information on this? Maybe Lloyd will eventually weigh in via proxy if this thread stays alive.
