I went over to see Jim Palenscar's new steel store in Oceanside,CA and it was like walking into heaven itself. Steel guitars everywhere plus accessories of every type. He also has a small machine shop in the back for making parts for repairs. I know Steel guitars are Jim's love and I'm happy to see he now he has a place to enjoy himself. I wonder if Karen is going to miss all those steels around the house though?
In two weeks the grand opening with Reece Anderson, JD Maness, David "the wildman" Wright plus some others will be here so it'll be a funtime with great pickers.

Jim said the ladies might set up a hospitality tent out back of the store with a few adult beverages. Should get things off to a good start. |
