Thank you Albert and the TSGA for inviting me to the show. The Dallas weekend is one of my favorite conventions. I had a great time talking with friends, hearing the music, and soaking up the Texas vibe. The super-jam with Hal Rugg was a personal and emotional highlight. I'm glad that the show was well-attended and another success.

Chuck, I didn't get a chance to say hi at this one.

I ALWAYS enjoy your sets. Your selection of music along with your excellent playing always holds my interest. You perform quite a variety of great tunes and your addition of "Little Ricky" is the icing on the cake. "Caladonia"....oh yeah!

And just when you thought you had heard it all played on steel guitar, Chuck comes up with Ave Maria. That was definitely different, and I enjoyed it.

Chuck you have made the steel enjoyable to so many. Your smooth and exciting approach draws the listener to really want to hear. I believe her name is Ms Yates(?) did a remarkable solo to your backup. Thanks for making Texas for your set.
Sincerely, Bob

Mr. Lettes, I ditto what Mr. Strum said. As I have made know to you, I especially liked "Ave Maria". Your arrangement, delivery, etc. made it so special. I could really feel our Lord's presence while you were playing that. I wish that you could tab what you played during your solo in the middle and post it in the tab section on the forum. I would relly benifit from it. Keep up the good work. It was a pleasure meeting you at the Dallas show and look forward to seeing you next year.

Chuck - It was good to see you in Texas. Keep the pedal alive in Colorado, and I'll do my best to keep it alive in New Mexico. I plan to do some pedal steel workshops this Summer in Albuquerque. Hopefully, this will influence more players in our area.
