Original Zuma liner notes also credit John McFee for all pedal steel on that album. Also note Stu Cook from Creedence on bass. New Shade of Blue was a great tune, and their biggest hit. I always liked this band and wondered why they didn't hit bigger. Same for Desert Rose Band. Too rock for country, too country for rock and roll? I thought they blended things nicely without sacrificing either.
