Actually, I think this is way off topic. Guns and music are antithetical. Guns are for taking lives. Music is for giving life.

If it were not for guns, there would be no USA for you to enjoy your music Susan or for that matter to become the person that you have decided to become. Think about it.

Guns don't kill---people do.
For every stupid crime committed by a predator, there are many more stopped by honest, law abiding citizens who are using their constitutional right to bear arms.

In regards to guns and music, there is plenty of music that is written to honor and celebrate the advent of war, military service, law enforcement, etc.

Next time a hooded person breaks into your house and threatens to kill you and steal everything you own, be sure to fire up the old pedal steel and play some music to protect yourself.

Steel guitars don't make music. People do.

Plus alot of folks who play steel are prior service, or active duty military, and have carried guns to protect freedom.

I am proud to count myself among those who are veteran proud.

I still feel that the mechnical nature of guns, pedal steels, cars, airplanes or even clocks, bear some resemblance and attract similiar personality types.
