Bill, Johnny lives in Nashville. It has been a few months since I talked with him but we are supposed to get together for some coffee one of these days. We graduated from high school together. He doesn't have a computer. If you would like more information you can send me an email and I will try to answer. Thanks.

Johnny Sibert had the very best Fender steel guitar sound I have ever heard. He played an early Fender Stringmaster triple with a 26" scale ___ very exciting player.

Curious....I use to attend almost all the Grand Ole Opry "road shows" put on by promoter Harry "Hap" Peebles, at the Kansas City, Kansas Memorial Hall, during the 60's and 70's. Is this the steel player that appears to have some fingers missing on his left hand. If it is, he is indeed one finest straight steel players I've heard. It was attending these shows, that helped inspire me to play steel. Now we have the conventions, etc., but back then these shows were the only contacts to see the "stars". By the way, ticket prices were only $3.00 to hear good Country Music for 2.5 to 3 hours. Image
