Racing and showing my 1989 Turbo Trans Am. 1 of 1555 made. The little turbo charged 6 cylinder engine will project this car down a quarter mile track in the high 11 second range. Nothing like whipping up on 'vettes and Vipers with a 6 banger!

Football fan, collect and build H/O scale layouts, computer flight sim and NASCAR sim. Too many hobbies, not enough time. Note to self, practice PSG more.

In 2004 one of my main hobbys was participating in the local/national Buy/Sell/Trade scene with regard to steels, guitar, amps, and effects. It was alot of fun!
Lately, I've been really into playing 6 string acoustic and electric guitar (I'm really enjoying a Fender Strat I bought in '04).
Also, Santa brought us a nice Digital Camera (Canon S1-IS), and I have been having a blast taking pic's of our 20 month old daughter, Josie. I have a lot to learn about taking good pictures, so I think this will be my hobby for much of '05.

I build bamboo flyrods over a hundred so far. I also make the machines necessary to mill the 18 strips that make a typical bamboo rod. So that led to being a hobbyist machinist and machining pedal steel parts.
I play golf, a lot. I fly fish on a High Sierra spring creek.
Right now, I am teaching myself to make cowboy boots. I watched my bootmaker and the guys at Capital Saddlery and figured I can do that. There's nothing harder than making a toe flower end up in the right place on both boots.
Next, I will learn to make my wife a saddle.

Chris, I've never used a Bamboo rod, but I fly fished mainly on the Bighorn River in MT, and also in and around Yellowstone park for most of the 80's. It was a great hobby that led to some real serious Fly Tying and Fly Fishing.
I'll have to try a good bamboo one of these days!

My other hobby is digital photography. I live in a very beautiful area so most of my images of are nature and scenery. I'll post a link to a few of my photos in case anyone's interested.

I love to cook. When my wife and son get home, I have something good happening. The cooking channel really got me interested. I also love carpentry, I'm an electrician (master license since '78) by trade, and I still design and estimate for extra income. I tour and work so much these days I don't have much time to work on my house, which is what I wanted to do this winter. Oh well, cooking is something you can enjoy 3 times a day.
I'd like to talk to Ricky about his diet. He's lookin' pretty stealth these days.

I just started playing psg in april 04 and i love it. i just got my new zum yesterday and it is the coolest sound i ever heard. now for the other things i like i am a life member of "single action shooting society". cowboy action shooting look it up on the web it is a lot of fun and nothing more than men acting like kids. bob munden has been seen on many tv shows he is in the world book of records listed as the fastest gun that lived. draw, shoot his target in .25 sec. that is fast. second i belong to the "brothers of the third wheel" it is a international trikers orgination. i belong to the st louis chapter. many of the chapters do poker runs and different things to raise money for st judes or the childrens network and things like that. i have a kawasaki front of a motorcycle and a vw rear end with a 1640 cc dual port engine with 4 streight pipes. (they always make me ride in the back) and third i have a team of belgian horses. i show this team and have won 3rd place at the missouri state fair for show 2 years in a row. they take 1st place in every parade where they pass out awards. they are 5 year old guildings. they work excellent on any farm equipment. they are traffic safe you can drive these horses anyplace with no problems. they are well mannered and easy to get along with. they are people safe also. they dont bite kick or paw the ground when you have them standing. when i stop them i don't have to tie them up to a hitch rail or nothing just stop em an they will just stand there for a couple hours with out walking off. we go into the woods and just stop them while cutting fire wood and they just stand there. they love the attention when i go to a parade with all the people petting them and it sure gives me a big head the way people love my team of belgians. they are huge they are almost 18 hands tall and weigh 2200 pounds each. i have black nylon harness with red nylon strips on it matching bridles with stainless steel hardware. there are silver stainless spots all over the harness. my show wagon is just a home made one it is red and the iron work is all black with white rims on the wheels. in june of each year we have a family reunion in macon missouri and everyone loves to go for a wagon ride. and i have done a few wagon trains also and that is a very good time. their names is mike and ike and everyone loves em.

Astronomy. I've spent too little time with it the last few years, but I still get out once in awhile and attend one or two "Star Parties" a year. For instance, there is a comet easily visable now that unless you have an interest, probably don't know about. People come out of the woodwork when big splashy ones come around, but the smaller less famous ones are fun to find too.

Bird hunting was a passion for me since I was a kid but it just dried up around here. I sold both my dogs last year. You guys that're still doing some of this stuff, invite me over and I'll buy the beer afterwards. It's fly fishing and just fishing in general for me now and an occasional Turkey hunt. Camping out with a good fishing trip is as good as it gets.

Mine is work, and model railroading..I have a 1.5" scale live steam 0-4-0 steam locomotive that I run when I can. Maybe some of you guys around Nashville have been to the Maury County Park in Columbia where I go to run twice a year. Aside from music & my day job (which takes most of my time), I enjoy shooting and collecting guns, training horses, dogs, working on my pickup truck, helping out at my church, reading & posting on political mailing lists, saving money so I can move back home to Texas.[This message was edited by Toby Rider on 12 January 2005 at 11:15 PM.]
