Have always loved Ray Price's "Night Life"
and thus, was somewhat startled when I heard
Nedward Ka'apana's "When the Lurline Sails Away".

What do you folks think? Coincidence or accident? Any similarity at all?

Ray, after listening to the tune it remindes me of "Night Life" that was written by Willie Nelson and recorded by Ray Price. Buddy Emmon's break and back up on that tune makes it a classic in my opinion. Jerry Byrd's playing on that tune is classic Byrd, great as usual. Thanks for the link to the tune.
I will also add that your playing Ray, is as close to Jerry Byrd as I have ever heard.
