Tommy, I heard the Christmas song "Deck the Halls" today and that was you wearing it out.
When was this recorded and where can I find the album? For you people in the Kingsport area, listen to 90.3 FM. They are playing Christmas music all day long and I hear alot of steel on the cuts they're playing. Thanks Tommy and Happy Thanksgiving.

Thanks Brett, I went to Wal Mart after I posted the question and while looking for a Kenny G Christmas cd I found it by accident.
There's some good pickin' on there. Brett, you da man, have a Great Thanksgiving buddy.

Sheeesh,
I once heard Tommy Play "Here comes Santa Clause" several years ago on the Opry, and his use of the 7th string (F#) passages he did on that number ROCKED.
What can I say about the "Killer" that HAS NOT already been said before?
Tommy, I wish you and Yours a SAFE and HAPPY Thanksgiving.

Tony, Ron and Brett,
Thank you for the kindness and information.
I had forgotten all about that particular "Christmas in Nashville" CD project until I saw this thread, as I never recieved a copy from the label. I'll try finding it at Walmart too.
Thanks again,
T.W.

Hi

What other artists are on this CD,and what is the label and number on it?
Maybe I can search for it myself.

The First Noel
O Holy Night
Silent Night
Hark! the Herald Angels Sing

I just bought the only one on Ebay. There is another "Christmas in Nashville" listed, but it was put out on Laserlight. My adage is "If it ain't available on Ebay, I don't need it".

This cd has 6 instrumentals and 6 vocals.
I saw it at a Dollar General store too for 3 dollars. What a deal. If you want to hear Tommy play some good pedabro, get Paul Brewster's Everybody's Talkin' cd plus there's a little steel too. Hey Tommy how about another cd??? Love your playing since the first time I heard you with the Whites.

Happy Holiday's Guy's and Gal's
Christsmas music has long been some of my favorite music for the steel and this CD has instantly become one of my favorite CD's. I was very lucky/fortunate to find a copy at a Walmart near my house. It seemed to be the only copy. I was looking for it a day or two after this first posted. Thanks for turning the rest of us on to it. Tommy and all the artist did an awesome job!
