The Wilburn brothers show last night was surely a wacky one. It looked to be from early 1970's - pretty much the nadir of fashion...

Barbara Mandrell was a guest and performed "Puttin' on the one who really loves me" with her own band. I was trying to figure out who her steel player was- it looked a bit like Bobby Black. Is that possible?

The episode last night had Curly Chalker in the band. Boy, what a wealth of licks this guy lays in. His playing on this show as well as Hal Rugg's is such great inspiration and learning material. I've been wearing out the tivo reverse and play buttons!
